You are right -- I did not do that. I did exactly as I reported
earlier, that exact sequence. I should not have replied so
casually.

I had manually right-clicked each track in the play queue and
done the BPM calcs [as implied but not stated clearly] before
I right-clicked that one to load to player1. I assume the code
knows that BPM was calculated and won't do it a second time
(eg. when loaded to the player) and in any case, the previous
track no-longer-playing in player1 had been there for probably
3 - 4 minutes, but I know for certain it was there for 60+
(subjective) seconds.
