First off, great vid Jan. It helped to see how your driver works with the hardware. I have some ideas on how to expand or polish the setup based on the work I did on my driver with its Traktor setup. I'll have to try to get a video of my own out demo'ing how that works. BTW, as an aside, did you have any issues with the init of the hardware? The bulk transfer from the device doesn't seem to work after re-loading the driver unless the hardware is also unplugged and re- plugged in. It does however respond to LED messages on the upstream channel. I'm not sure if this is an issue with OS X/USB or an oddity of the hardwares usb chipset. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. > What's the situation with Windows and Mac? Presumably you > don't get all the same neat features? The last beta I published for the Mac driver back in the summer didn't have MIDI in capabilities but I'm trying to push 1.0 out the door any day which has pretty much the same feature set. LED control, midi clock around the rings, auto-calibrating etc etc. I just need to change my code for what I started on a Mixxx mode to work 1-to-1 with Jan's config. The code base is written for easy config modifying so it shouldn't take much effort to match behavior. I'm hoping to get it out very, very soon. I've been backed up writing useless demo projects for job interviews the last few weeks but I expect that to be over soon. I'll make sure to re-post when it's out.
