Though I'd need 100 or so runs to prove it, I strongly suspect that waveform increases my crash rate. However, it crashes almost as often with it set to "simple". I am totally unable to use the cue point though with it on, because waveform drawing takes so long. It usually does center-out, but too slow. Dual core Intel 2.2GHz with 3GB ram and only mixxx and gnome running.
