Hello. In first place, congratulate you for the work that you make. I love Mixxx. In second place, my history. I am computer science student and I am making my career end project. The project is a system similar to a vinyl control but, instead of using a coded disk, it uses a disk holed in the border and two photoelectric barriers connected to a PIC microcontroller that communicates with the pc via USB; you can see an image here if you want:

I need to manage music files, MP3 or WAV, in the way that Mixxx makes it, being able to control speed (Pitch independent time stretch), play backwards and do scratch. I have investigated the code of Mixxx but, frankly, I find impossible for me to take the parts that I need to make that task, if it was possible for you, and you agree, I would like to know what classes, functions and/or libraries need to use to do the tasks it. For me it would be a very valuable help, although I know that what I want is not easy at all, I hope we can make something. Many thank you. Greetings.
