Hi All,
It now takes approximately 3 seconds to import the 381 songs on my 4GB
iPod. The speed up is thanks to no longer using QFileInfo, which was
probably hitting the disk to get things like file size and other info not
important to iPod stuff. I'm going to try testing a few of my co-workers
bigger iPods over the next few days to see how long it takes.
btw I will buy anyone who can get it ipod=1 to compile on a platform other
then Linux an ice cream.
