Hello,
Today I installed Mixxx 1.6.0.Beta 3.
It worked fine, then I wanted to change my options audio output to my
sound-blaster x-fi xtreme audio but I get an error.
Because I want to introduce the program in some schools where Im the
ICT-coördinator I need to experiment in some ways, because the colleges
always find ways to create problems and then I had to give the solutions.
So I installed the version 1.5.0 without uninstalling the 1.6.
It worked and I could change to my sound card, I think I installed then the
1.6 again; it worked but no changing of the sound card possible.
Again the 1.5.0, it worked till I changed the skin to Collusion ???. an
then it crashed. after that I tried to reïnstall the version 1.6.0 and I
got
The known runtime error, even after I deleted everything of Mixxx.
I looked on the site https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/1.6/+bug/223464 and I
installed the version
http://downloads.mixxx.org/mixxx-1.6.0-svn/mixxx-1.6.0-svn07022008-win.exe
It didnt work but I found the tip
after looking in the logfile, I saw Debug: Loading playlists and library
tracks from XML...
Debug: Track::readXML "C:/Documents and Settings/gebruiker/mixxxtrack.xml"
I went looking there and saw 3 files that started with mixxx:
I deleted them and voilà
Mixxx works fine and I could change too my soundcard also.
