Hey guys, The code-a-thon we had yesterday was a big success - we had a full day of bug fixing, polishing, and testing on many different system configurations thanks to a great turnout from our community on IRC.
Early in the day, we posted a list of activities for coders and non-coders on the wiki: http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/coding_day_activities Among the tasks accomplished yesterday were: * make ov_fopen ifdef'd for Windows * remove crufty unsupported mouse controls from the preferences * added clear button to the search box * many SConscript changes / fixes * added support for a new MIDI controller : NuMark TotalControl * found and filed a lot of Windows bugs (hooray!) * fixed an XML parsing bug * new artwork for 1.6.0 website * QDoubleSpinbox stuff by Martin * Serato CD support tested and fixed. Thanks to Sean and Mark! * Figured out this VC Manifest thing causes crashes on startup with some Windows machines. A big thanks to everyone who turned out. Your contribution to Mixxx has helped to keep the project growing and has taken us a big step towards our next release. Thank you! Lastly, once we've fixed up some last few bugs and put the finishing touches on the website and manual next week, we hope to release 1.6.0.
