Hi,

Here's a few random things that are in my head at the moment.

1. Forum Moderation - We have our fancy new forums working nicely. The only
problem with this is that people tend to ask us questions. While some of
these are real technical discussions of bugs and so on, a lot of them are
answered by the FAQ or more basic operating system help. It would be really
helpful if anyone wanted to help out here, answering easy questions, adding
answers to the FAQ and maybe moderating a bit, things like that. No code
experience really required so would be great for someone who wants to help
out but doesn't have time or expertise to get into coding. And it's easy
infrequent work you can do as much or as little of as you like with no
commitment. Reply or contact me if you're interested.

2. Developement Team Organisation - Anyone who's been here more than 15
minutes has noticed there isn't any. Anyone who's paid much attention to the
1.6.0 release has also noticed that Albert quietly took over a lot of
maintenance duties during this release cycle. At some point we'll have to
update our "job" titles to reflect this (although they aren't on the new
website at the moment anyway). Perhaps we'll rebrand ourselves
co-maintainers or something. Or perhaps something more
creative<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_ambassadors_to_the_United_Nations>
...

3. GSoC - is wrapping up as we speak. Expect more blogspam about this once
the 1.6.0 fallout settles.
