It is indeed possible that they have crappy drivers. It might for
example not like certain buffer sizes or something. Most drivers can
handle arbitrary buffer sizes but I remember we encountered one a
while back where it had to be a multiple of 32. There's no easy way to
fix this kind of thing, short of modifying the Mixxx source to
generate different buffer sizes and so on and seeing if that helps...
