Hi Leandro,

make only solves part of the problem - it resolves dependencies  
between your source files and builds your project. make does not find  
external dependencies (like libraries) and not set up any build flags  
or anything for you.

Many projects use autoconf to solve the latter problem, but it's  
archaic, difficult to use, and is otherwise a pain in the ass to use.  
SCONS solves these problems and works very nicely on all the platforms  
on which Mixxx can be built.
