On the mixer I have there is a toggle on each channel between phono/line. I have turntables wired into the phono-in and can have my laptop go into the line-in. If I want to mix between mp3 and vinyl I can just flick a switch. Even without having that switch you could keep a turntable on channel 1 and mixxx on channel 2 so long as you have a hardware mixer lying about -- but if you have turntables and vinyls to play how could you not have a mixer? Not to put down your idea, it would indeed be faster and more convenient, but maybe you can pull this off anyway? -Nick ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Mixxx-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mixxx-devel
