This is good stuff, but with xwax there's no need to use ALSA to merge all the channels of the A8DJ together, and then JACK to split them up again. (although I think you might need to do this with Mixxx). Better to use xwax to interface with ALSA directly, which it does without the need for any .asoundrc configuring, and with smaller buffers: $ ./xwax -a plughw:DJ,0,0 -a plughw:DJ,0,1 If you're testing v0.5test1 then you can also use the A8DJ's 96000Hz sample rate: $ ./xwax -r 96000 -a plughw:DJ,0,0 -a plughw:DJ,0,1 -- Mark ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Mixxx-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mixxx-devel
