It's implemented using m4a=1 build flag,

As for distribution of the decoder, someone should let Ubuntu know then,
because they are distributing the decoder,   We are merely linking against
the distro's libraries/headers:

    libmp4v2.so.0 => /usr/lib/libmp4v2.so.0 (0x00007febc9a84000)
    libfaad.so.0 => /usr/lib/libfaad.so.0 (0x00007febc9844000)

I'm not sure if any of this stuff will work on Windows (I don't have windows
builds of those libs and haven't dug through the songbird svn to see if they
have em either).
