Hello again. OK, after building Mixxx via Garth's snazzy new project file for QtCreator, I was able to test MIDI scripting.
(For anyone that wants to try it, we've majorly updated the Compiling on Windows wiki page. http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/compiling_on_windows ) Problems with MIDI send: - Windows is usually unable to open MIDI devices for output (works fine for input.) See midiobjectwin.cpp around line 103 for a starting point. - I was able to get it to output when selecting the wrong device (with two connected) in the Prefs just after startup. (Procedure: load a mapping for target device, click Activate on the wrong device, exit Mixxx. Come back in and LEDs immediately work on the target device (but controls don't.)) It only seems to do this right after startup. If you activate them back & forth, it doesn't work. - Sometimes getting error on close: Warning: [Main]: QStackedWidget::setCurrentWidget: widget 00000000 not contained in stack which may be related Please, can a Windows ninja take a look at this? This is definitely a release blocker! Sincerely, Sean M. Pappalardo "D.J.
