It's more complicated then that ... There a bunch of references to QDir::Home/HomePath/HomeDir (grep -i home) all of which need to be redone... I touch a bunch of them in this patch.
Home is a runtime dynamic from user to user, OS-to-OS... %userprofile% on win, ~ on *nix You could put an alternate ifdef __USBMODE__ or something block around each of those and just use "." for them.
