I'm actually writing here because I think it is probably the most
appropriate place where to share such news.
I have been the admin of OpenJay.org for 6/7 years 'till now, but I have no
more spare time to manage the portal, as you can notice from the homepage.
So the shutdown is officially announced : 17 April 2009 will be the end of
the domain name and of all the rest.
When OpenJay.org was founded, Mixxx was a little unknown project. Now it is
a big development place and an active and stable software. There is no more
need of OpenJay.org. So this is the reason for having such an announcement
here.
I had a lot of fun thanks to OpenJay.org and Mixxx. So I'm glad of what has
been. I'm wishing to all of you a good future with Mixxx and with the
opensource dj community.
If someone would like to have OpenJay.org artwork and themes, I'll be glad
to share them. Some time ago I was planning a theme rewrite and I almost did
it. Here a little preview of my old artwork:
