Hercules RMX / Beta 1.7 Testers,

I was planning to send this email out on the weekend after my latest round
of commits to the BZR 1.7 branch, but I haven't had a chance until now (I'm
crazy busy at a new job these days :D). If you have an RMX can fiddle
with Javascript in notepad, I could use your help.

Currently, the mappings for the RMX are pretty well complete (
http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/hercules/#hercules_rmx_tested), what I need
some help from RMX owners to play/experiment with the Jog Wheels to see if
they can get it sounding better in 1.7.

How the Jogs works at a concept level in 1.7:
- There is a mapping from the XML connecting the Jog wheels to the
HerculesRMX.jog_wheel function

- As people spin the jogs on the RMX
-> HerculesRMX.jog_wheel function is called and either "[ChannelX] wheel"
or "[ChannelX] scratch" "spin rates" are incremented / accelerated by a
formula.

- When the playerposition of either deck changes (place marker of where
mixxx is in a song during playback or movement) then HerculesRMX.wheelDecay
is invoked [This is because ]
-> if enough time between wheelDecay has elapsed, then a decay amount is
applied to the "spin rates" or wheel or scratch on each channel.

Scratch should sound like a scratching record, while wheel should help you
easily position a song while cueing tracks.

Here's where to grab the latest Hercules mapping files from BZR, they should
work with the latest beta binaries:

Feel free to bug me with questions, I will do my best to answer them.
