Hi Gigi, In order to use an external mixer you will need to pick up an external soundcard. There isn't a laptop around you wouldn't have to do this for. Also, what exactly would you like to do with two turntables? Mixxx supports vinyl control (e.g. see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2ZPSSXlK60). If you want to feed a record direct into Mixxx and use Mixxx to control it, that's sadly not possible yet, though you can always just rip your vinyl and then play the files in Mixxx (and then you have backups of your vinyl!). You'll want to make sure the external card has at least 2 stereo output channels (so, 4 mono channels)--Mixxx actually does support having only 1 stereo channel on the external card (unlike Traktor :D) but due to the nature of sound hardware it'll necessarily introduce lag. Also, if you want to use plug turntables in for vinyl control you'll want two stereo inputs too. Once you get a soundcard, check out http://mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/faq#is_it_possible_to_use_mixxx_with_an_external_mixer . This setup is very slick, I don't have to worry about lag when I flick the crossfader.
