Hi everyone, There's been a handful of bug fixes recently including a significant memory leak fix and gdkarpman's patches that warrant a 1.7.1 release, so we'll tentatively say that we'll try to release 1.7.1 in a few weeks. If there's something else you'd like fixed in 1.7.1, please send your patches as soon as possible.
