Peachy...right in the middle of my 12-hour drive back from NYC. But if you can call my cell phone, I can participate. (It will actually help stave off the boredom. :) ) Also, I read the IRC backlog and I wanted to remind people that "beta" means feature-complete. It means we think we've debugged as much as we can (barring maybe a couple known issues or small bugs) and need more people to try to find new bugs, implying feature freeze (since adding new features can introduce bugs in previously bug-free code.) The releases talked about with just the library & looping would be alpha at most, but really not even that. "Nightly select" or "sneak preview," if you will. Why the rush anyway? People can build from source if they're hot to try it out. And with Hudson now building Mixxx on mingw32, even Windows users can get in on the action. On that note, there _should_ be a rush on getting 1.7.1 out. There are just a few bugs that need attention and we can release it quite soon afterwords. https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/1.7/+bugs Statuses: 404927 - The provided patches need to be reviewed by someone very familiar with the current library, then they can be merged and the bug closed. See the last comment on that bug. 410841 - This is technically ongoing, which is why it's still marked "In Progress." I fixed the biggest one, but if a few people feel like taking a look at fixing some more, that would be great. 370945 - This sounds like a simple fix and we need someone who knows the GUI code to do it. 415501 - Seems like this is also a simple fix but I have no idea how/where to do it. 379317 - This needs re-evaluation to see if it's still valid. Thanks for your time and attention. Sincerely, Sean M. Pappalardo "D.J.
