Good feedback might be to change the color of the text in the browser to
red to indicate failure.  If they right click, maybe a bunch of grayed
out options and then "Unsupported File" somewhere.

For dragged-and-dropped files of known-ungood type, perhaps changing the
cursor to an X when they try to drop it?
