Hi guys,

I hope everyone's holidays are going well. I've just tagged
"release172" in our 1.7 branch, and we're ready to build packages for
this next release. If possible, I'd like for us to get this out the
door before New Year's Eve, because the AnalyserQueue fix mention
below could prevent some nasty, though relatively rare problems.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to my usual desktop machine, so I
can't immediately build a 32-bit Ubuntu package. If anyone else has
pbuilder setup in Ubuntu and can take a shot at it, it would be
greatly appreciated. ( https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PbuilderHowto and then
sudo scons makeubuntu. It'll spit out a .deb in /var/pbuilder/result)

Here's a rough changelog for 1.7.2:
- Applied Bas van Schaik's playlist dejumbling patch.
- Fixed MIDI on OS X
- Improved latency calculation to be more accurate at low latencies
and forces powers-of-two buffer sizes. This should improve
compatibility with certain soundcards/APIs.
- Improved handling of invalid songs
- Added safety checks to AnalyserQueue in case files contain more
samples than they claim. (Prevents memory corruption in that case.)

Thanks, and please upload your packages somewhere and pass me a link
when you get a chance!

Happy New Year,
Albert
