Hi all, I've finished working on the existing src/test/soundFileFormat/generateFiles.sh script (generates every kind of audio file mixxx supports). In short, it no longer uses sox + lame, it now uses ffmpeg + specific command-line encoders. Or, it can be set to use ffmpeg alone (overall inferior quality, also disables 22khz m4a files as well as 96kHz ogg files)
Running the script will now require ffmpeg vorbis-tools neAacEnc (Nero's AAC encoder, freely available though not FOSS) wavpack (this is not relevant until wavpack support is included) Attached is a diff of README.txt as well as generateFiles.sh, patched agains trunk #2260. Or, if the attachment gets blocked, I've pasted it here too: http://pastebin.ca/1750646 CSB / fenugrec ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Mixxx-devel mailing list Mixxx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mixxx-devel
