Hi all,
I've finished working on the existing 
src/test/soundFileFormat/generateFiles.sh
script (generates every kind of audio file mixxx supports). In short, it
no longer uses sox + lame, it now uses ffmpeg + specific command-line 
encoders.
Or, it can be set to use ffmpeg alone (overall inferior quality, also
disables 22khz m4a files as well as 96kHz ogg files)

Running the script will now require
ffmpeg
vorbis-tools
neAacEnc (Nero's AAC encoder, freely available though not FOSS)
wavpack (this is not relevant until wavpack support is included)

Attached is a diff of README.txt as well as generateFiles.sh, patched
agains trunk #2260.
