Attention MIDI script developers: I've made some corrections and improvements to the new scratching behavior in trunk r2402. Most noticeably that scratch2 actually overrides the playback speed (it was affected by the pitch range before,) and that we now have proper ramp-back (when you disable scratching.)
For those who have already started working with this, you will need to adjust the RPM value in the engine.scratchEnable() call to be 2 to 4 times higher than before. (Alternately, or in addition, you can adjust the control resolution value by the same factor.) So if you were using 33+1/3, try 66+2/3 or 100 now.
