If i can add my thoughts here - been playing around with both versions today and i've had a rethink re beat matching:- as Owen mentioned earlier, if the waveform doesnt stretch when the pitch is adjusted, then two tempo matched tracks only ever line up at one point on the screen. Therefore, for beat matching, rubberbanding works - its just felt a little strange when i hit the decks initially.
Good point on the scratching Sean, so i spent the last twenty minutes scratching (ineptly!) with Owen's stretchy version, and i don't think its really a big deal - the waveform doesnt actually stretch that badly, given i think that my rewind speed is pretty constant. Its very workable. I'm now favouring stretchy all the way! Just my 2 p's rgds Owen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Owen Williams" <owen-b...@ywwg.com> To: "Sean M. Pappalardo - D.J.
