Hi everybody,
My name is Justin. I'd like to help you out with Mixxx project! I would like
to make Session History feature for you, because I can imagine how it should
work. However, I see that many people would like to do it since I read
several messages in this mailing list (good luck, guys!) :D So now I started
to think about AutoDJ improvements too. But I need to review code for a
little longer. I'll share my thoughts about it later.
Mixxx cought my attention, because it includes two best things: music and
programming. I am coding for about 4-5 years. Mostly with C/C++ and Python.
There are several open source projects I made myself or with some friends (I
could share the links, if you are interested). One of them was real-time
audio visualization program made with C++ (where visualizations were
affected by incoming sound). I am second-year student from Lithuania. Music
is my passion. Right now I'm playing classical guitar, but I would like to
know more about music made by DJ's.
I am also making music/sfx for one of our open source games, however, this
is the first time for it :D So I've worked with Audacity, LMMS. And now I
can say, I tried Mixxx. It is fun to play with, but if I'd like to be a DJ,
I need to learn much :D
So my introduction is done :D I'll post some questions in the near future.
