Hi Mixxx,

So far exploring the code has been a great experience thanks to the tool
'cscope'. Thank you Ryan for giving me a very quick and useful response for
each of my mails in the list :) I have another nobrainer for you
developers. I see this headphone icon on the Mixxx interface and so I ask
is it so we route its output to the headphone? When I tried doing it on my
laptop which is a HP Pavillion it didn't make any difference, I had a
headphone plugged in and like always the speakers shut and all audio went
to the headphone. Do we need like some special setup to use this headphone
feature?

I have just begun to get comfortable with Mixxx's code and have coded
patches for a few weekend bugs
#916561<https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/916561>
#908480 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/908480> while more are in
progress. I am thinking about moving on to something more moderately
challenging like this bug here which is a wishlist
#3366091<https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/366091>.
Before I can even think about that, I need to know about what exactly the
headphone button does.

Hope to hear from you guys, also tell me if I am biting off more than I can
chew. If you know any other bugs that you deem fit for a newbie, do tell.

Thank you,

Akash Shetye.
