Just tested the latest r3075 of the branch. Some notes: * Get rid of the redundant opening and closing window in the learning wizard. The sentence from the opening window could go into the "Learning wizard" buttons tooltip or as note below . * Not being able to resize the Midi Learning dialog is a hot topic in Traktor land, we should make the Learning wizard window resizable from the beginning :-) Additionally some translations from the drop-down menu will likely grow larger than the current fixed width allows. * The user is not able to tell why the Learning Wizard button is active with some controllers and some not. Append MIDI or HID respectively to the controller id display with a little explanatory text. * The "Loaded Preset" label displays only the first part of the Controller identifier if the identifier string contains a space (and if not loaded from a preset) e.g: Identifier= VCI 300 DJ Controller -> Display=VCI * Something is funky with the availability of the Learning Wizard button if controllers are multiple times in the list of available controllers. e.g. the Vestax VCI 300 identifies as 1) MIDI controller and as 2) HID controller ( for the jog wheels iirc). For the MIDI part I can load a Midi preset from the drop-down menu but the Learning Wizard button is disabled where it shouldn't.
* Minor: The use of a grid layout in dlgcontrollerlearning.ui can make things more readable, currently all infos are presented in one long sentence. * Minor: Fix alignment in Load Preset dialog dlgprefcontrollerdlg.ui * Minor: Since we do not differentiate between MIDI and HID controllers in the sense of icons, what about restoring the controller preference icon from v1.10 ( the keyboard). Currently it is the same as for Vinyl control.
