Hi Ferran,

Welcome in the the great mixxx community, I am not around for so long
but I can tell you there is a bunch of motivated and innovative people in here !

Regarding development environment, I personally use (and recommend) QtCreator
on both linux and windows (never tried on Mac). It will allow you to
easily navigate the code source
(search engine and usage tracking are so great, plus of course all the
Qt support, indent and in source help !).
For the moment mixxx do not come with a .pro file that you can directly open in
QtCreator but I developed a small tool that parse the mixxx source
tree to create it on demand.
Just let me know if you want to try it.

Regarding the build process, you could refer to the wiki, all the
information is there,
from 'how to create an account on launchpad' to 'how ending with a
fresh build on you local machine' ...

I guess once you've done all that, you can discuss on this very list
what you are interested in and start contributing to mixxx :)

Yours,
Thomas
