Hi David,
As far as I know nobody on the dev team has a Denon MC6000 so we are
waiting for someone from the community to contribute a preset for it. There
is some discussion here:

Mixxx is Free and open-source software -- kind of like Firefox but for
DJing. This means that the source code to Mixxx will always be available
free of charge. The whole team works very hard but we are all unpaid
volunteers. We'd love to find a way to sustain Mixxx's development but we
haven't found anything that works sofar.
