One addition:
I think you have to replace
>path_to_mixxx-win32lib-msvc90-release_directory<
with the path where you have checked out
mixxx-win32lib-msvc90-release
In my WinXP moc.exe is here:
C:\QtSDK\Desktop\Qt\4.8.0\msvc2008\bin\moc.exe
so my qtdir would be
qtdir=C:\QtSDK\Desktop\Qt\4.8.0\msvc2008
