I want to export Mixxx's beats to other programs like Renoise or Ardour so
I can use Mixxx for DJing, but still have the power of a DAW. It seems like
the logical way to do this is with Mixxx as the master (meaning it controls
the clock). The only way I see to do this is to have a midi device reading
the "beat_active" control and outputting midi messages according to the
protocol here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_timecode
Has anyone by any chance already done something like this? Does anyone have
any suggestions or similar setups?
