Hi
I'm building mixx on my system now. I have one doubt: Which one is
preferable? QT 4.7.4 or QT 5.0.1. Why I ask this is, in building
mixxx->compiing on windows page->step 2 is:
----------------
Prepare build environment
Add to or create the following system environment variables
(HowTo<http://www.chem.gla.ac.uk/~louis/software/faq/q1.html>,)
adjusting the paths to match where you actually installed the above
QTDIR = C:\qt-windows-4.7.4\
PATH = C:\qt-windows-4.7.4\bin; C:\Python26;C:\Python26\Scripts
---------------
My doubt concerns with-> PATH = C:\qt-windows-4.7.4\bin
In QT 5, if we go by the same analogy, there is no folder under the name
binin the folder qt in itself. However there are two bin folders in two
other locations:
1>C:\Qt\Qt5.0.1\5.0.1\msvc2010\bin
2> C:\Qt\Qt5.0.1\Tools\QtCreator\bin
so which one to choose?
I'm also assuming, in creating system environment variables, we can choose
the variable name as we wish? Am I right in this assumption?
Thanks
