I've posted my Mixxx Loop Recorder GSoC proposal here:

I think a loop recorder would offer some very exciting new functionality
for Mixxx.
Please send me any feedback you have on the proposal and any ideas/use
cases for a loop recorder you have I didn't include. In the meantime I'm
looking forward to diving in and fixing some bugs.
