Did you try Max's library_features branch with this library? If so, that
branch introduced a v18 of the DB schema. This key branch also uses v18 for
its data so if you tried Max's branch at any point then your DB won't apply
the features_key changes.
You can just open up your DB with sqlite3 and type this on the console:
$ sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/Mixxx/mixxxdb.sqlite
ALTER TABLE Library ADD COLUMN keys BLOB;
ALTER TABLE Library ADD COLUMN keys_version TEXT;
ALTER TABLE Library ADD COLUMN keys_sub_version TEXT;
