No and yes. :) The Mac App Store version has always had some features turned off for various reasons.
Max, I would have agreed with you a few years ago, but the situation with the Mac App Store has changed since then in my view. Maybe by Apple's intent, the Mac App Store has become a store for crappy little "apps", and is not a place where you can generally find quality _desktop_ software. (I would also argue that even if some Mac users find software via the Mac App Store, what we care about is where _DJs_ find software, and that place is definitely not the Mac App Store.) And remember, North America and Europe are still 10:1 for Windows to Apple users, so worst case the Mac App Store is still a small percentage of Mixxx's current reach.
