*Thank you* to all the students who applied. We received many high-quality
proposals and unfortunately could not take you all (we would if we could!).
That said, GSoC isn't the only way to contribute to the Mixxx project. If
you want to implement a new feature in Mixxx but weren't accepted, we'd
still be happy to give you advice and mentorship on how to implement it and
get it merged into Mixxx. Regardless of whether it is through Google Summer
of Code, contributing to a prominent open-source project is both great
experience and looks good on a resume so I encourage you to stay involved
with the community regardless.
