Hi mixxx-developers.

I am working on a set of improved EQ types for Mixxx.

I have presently issued a pull request [1] featuring a Linkwitz-Riley EQ.
(I think) It features a constant phase shift, and a flat gain at unity.
Any comment and tests are welcome.

A linear phase EQ with a constant group delay, would be an other desirable
EQ type. Is it possible turn the Bessel EQ into such an EQ like stated here
[2]

Is is possible to add an allpass filter that reverts the phase shift
introduced by the EQ?

What does discrete convolution [3] [4] mean for our fidlib coefs?
Is it possible us it in Mixxx? Does one know a reference implementation?

Thank you very much for help.

Kind regards,

Daniel
