As I've explained in the past email, I'm all new to this mail list, but I'd
like to contribute with a solid problem I've found:
As I tried to register myself in the Forum, I've got a funny never-saw-before
Blacklist IP error, which says I've been "caught" using a "well-known"
Blacklisted IP... Though that should basically be false, :) i've asked a
friend to do it, and tried some proxies, which keep giving me the same
message.
That's when I duck-duck-go'ed it and found a solution on PHPBB forums:

The fact is, since January 1st, the AHBL servers, which verifies for
Blacklisted IP's are permanently down, giving false-positives to everybody,
so that's why I was unable to register at the first place.
Which leads to the fact that the solution seems to be temporarily disable
"all spam/rbl checking".
I'm not really a PHPBB manteiner. but I think it's time we run after a new
spam checking tool :)
