Hey Mixxx folks,
We're finally going to announce a beta! Look for posts on our blog and
social media in the next few hours.
If you're on Ubuntu you can switch to the "beta" channel by regularly
updating from our beta PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~mixxx/+archive/ubuntu/mixxxbetas
To avoid the overhead of doing a bunch of discrete beta releases we plan to
regularly update the beta link and make sure that a build number is
prominently associated.
For those who have been regularly testing our nightly builds -- nothing
changes. Keep downloading the latest builds from:
http://downloads.mixxx.org/builds/1.12/release/
and make sure to file bugs with a specific filename or build # as a
reference.
