Hello, If Shoutcast was only stopper then I think It's solved and let's on this release. More Shoutcast work can be attached to next release if it doesn't get into 1.12 and yes we need more sane release schedule/system people doesn't allow it's released when it's ready anymore. I would go with timebase-release system it's most idiotic but working.
Attract more people for development (as we seen some have join us during 1.12!) it would be marvelous even though we Europeans feel outsiders but I can live with that.
