Hello people,
I am Mayank Kumar, currently studying in Birla Institute of Technology and
Science (BITS), Pilani, India. I am pursuing a dual major in Civil
Engineering and Biological Sciences.
I have been into programming since my high school. I scored 100% and 98%
marks in Computer Science in my 10th and 12th grade respectively. In my
freshman year, I was the top 10 (in a batch of 900-1000 people) and scored
an A grade in the Computer Programming course. I am proficient in C++ and
have amateur experience in JAVA. I have also done some application
development for Windows phone. I am very enthusiastic and eager to do
open-source programming at a professional level.
Mixxx DJ Software is one of the very few organisations participating in
GSoC 2016 which actually interests me. I am very excited to even write this
mail to you. I have gone through the projects ideas that are listed on your
website. Some of them really intrigue me and I would love to work on them.
The projects which I would like to work on are:
- Track Meta Data Editor
- Keyboard Mapping GUI
I would love to work with you like and would like to discuss further about
the projects and my prospects of being accepted in your organisation for
GSoC 2016.
