There is already a space for it in the database and you can assign a
label in the Cuepoints tab of the track Properties dialog accessible by
right clicking a track in the library. However, it seems that when the
skin specifies a graphic for that hotcue the label is not rendered on
the waveform. Currently Deere specifies hotcue graphics for only the
first 4 hotcues. I'm not sure about the other skins, but I think they
only have graphics for the first 4 or 8 hotcues as well.
When the label is rendered on the waveform, just the number is rendered
on the overview, but there is no label. I don't think there is much
point to having a label if it is only shown when the playhead is close
to the hotcue point. Drawing it on the overview would not work very well
either because there is not much space there. A new cue point list
widget like in Serato would need to be made to make this feature really
useful.
