I have viewed both the raw avi output, and the lav2yuv > trancoded input I am giving mpeg2enc, and both look very good. Have you take a look at the mjpegpeg howto ?
Which commands do you use for encoding ? > I am using version 1.6.1 of the mjpeg tools under Linux. > I have a sample of the output at: > http://stahl.dynu.com/babies/video/tape001.mpg You use very likely a too small video bitrate. 1MBit at VCD size is not much. It you only want a MPEG1 use: someting like: ... | mpeg2enc -b 2000 -q 9 ..... You have a lot of motion in the video, and that motion (of the water) needs bandwith. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: Take your first step towards giving your online business a competitive advantage.
