Hallo > (please don't use reply-all (huge CC list) - let's keep discussion on > this on the mjpeg-users mailinglist, thank you) ..... > Conclusion: please test it! In case of problems, read the FAQ and/or > send an email to Laurent, me or [EMAIL PROTECTED] Recording seems to work. It worked once and after that I tired to start xawtv. xawtv fails in a strange way: # xawtv -device /dev/video1 This is xawtv-3.80, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.20) ioctl: VIDIOCSCHAN(channel=0;name="Composite";tuners=0;flags=0x0 [];type=CAMERA;norm=3): Input/output error /root/.xawtv:1: error: no section /root/.xawtv:2: error: no section /root/.xawtv:3: error: no section /root/.xawtv:5: error: no section /root/.xawtv:6: error: no section /root/.xawtv:7: error: no section Segmentation fault
And produces the messages I have attaced, from system meassages. When xawtv starts it also starts: v4l-conf -q -c /dev/video1 And that programm seems to fail horrible too. Because I cann't kill it. I was not able to test mor because my machine stopped once. And I have to reboot to reload the driver. Happy testing und auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard
