No, but with -d 1 much above -q 50 I get dropped frames.

Not as far as I know. Do the drivers load without errors? Does xawtv
work? If not you should go to the Marvel list.

I have Debian unstable but it worked with woody too. I have an Audigy
using the sourceforge emu10k1 driver. Kernel 2.4.20
If you have a much older kernel try upgrading.
