Thanks for the kind offer, sadly I have let my programming skills rust over 
the years.  I'm not sure I'd be able to take your work further.  However I'd 
be interested to look at it.  No urgency in digging it up however as it'll 
probably be a while before I can find sufficient uninterrupted time to study 
it.

Alas with a heavy non computer job and fair sized family I can no longer 
disapear for a few weeks or even days programming.  On the other hand I no 
longer have to punch the stuff on cards (Hollerith!) and wait for the result 
in my pigeon hole.  Those were the days ;-)
