Hi!

I had a working installation of avifile-0.7-0.7.22 and mjpegtools-1.6.1
until yesterday, when I tried to make those Win32 codecs work which were
reported to be supported but not found when I tried to use them. So I
installed the latest release of avifile and then things had messed up. I
tried to revert to the old (once working) avifile but it did not help
either.

What I did in addition to installing avifile 0.7-0.7.27, was downloading
the divx4linux libraries as well as the Win32 MP 9.0 .dll codecs. Both
from the avifile home pages.

The problem is with the yuv2divx tool. (mpg encoding works fine) What I
get is:

malachite:~/Video/pisztrang> yuv2divx -a 128 -o dummy.avi <dummy.eli
   INFO: [yuv2divx] ===========================================

Does anyone have an idea of what went wrong? I repeat, it was a working
installation the day before yesterday. I tried to disable various compile
option both in avifile and mjpegtools (e.g. jpeg-mmx, cmov support etc. ),
but none of them cured the problem.

Regards,
 Aurel

PS. I'm not on the list, please cc. Thanks
