I'm having problems related to loss of audio video sync when I go from DV to (x)SVCD on long pieces of video. It would be a help if anyone who captures with DV could let me have a copy of the output of running:
tcprobe -i anyoldDVfile.avi Preferrably on a file captured using dvgrab with DV2 format. Thanks, Michael ------------------------------------------------------------- For the curious- What I'm getting is : [tcprobe] RIFF data, AVI video [avilib] V: 25.000 fps, codec=dvsd, frames=6968, width=720, height=576 [avilib] A: 48000 Hz, format=0x01, bits=16, channels=2, bitrate=1536 kbps, [avilib] 6968 chunks, 53504840 bytes [tcprobe] summary for HMT001.avi, (*) = not default, 0 = not detected import frame size: -g 720x576 [720x576] frame rate: -f 25.000 [25.000] frc=3 audio track: -a 0 [0] -e 48000,16,2 [48000,16,2] -n 0x1 [0x2000] (*) bitrate=1536 kbps length: 6968 frames, frame_time=40 msec (Current working hypothesis is I am either loosing some audio bits somewhere related perhaps to multiple DV files or the bits are too close together/far apart (joke) i.e. the audio analogue to digital encoder clock is not what it should be). My hope is info on what a good capture is will help me better work out what's up. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
