Hi -
A number of movies I've encoded look good as long as the pictures
do not get too dark - but night scenes or the transitions that
involved fading to and from black do not look very good (looks a bit
like the game of Life being played on the TV screen).
Is there a type of filtering that might be helpful in preventing the
'dancing blocks' from appearing when dark scenes are encoded with
mpeg2enc?
